Looking for the perfect tan in a bottle has been near enough a lifelong quest for me! They are usually either too orange, too blotchy or lack a certain fresh fragrant! I heard about the Make Beilieve Self Tanning range after great magazine reviews and coming top in the programme How To Look Good Naked. This conditioning and refining self tan was so quick to absorb, leaving an all over  golden glow which developed within 4 hours. It has an exotic blend of Rainforest, Hempseed, Jojoba Oils and Shea Butter; all known for their moisturising and skin softening properties. Most self tanning products do tend to be rather drying on the skin and develop a strange biscuit scent, however, Make Believe has revolutionised the tanning experience by providing a range designed to not only tan the skin, but provide ingredients to infuse hydration, tone and elasticity. Also enriched with an active tanning ingredient, derived from sugar beets! My skin was left soft and glowing. I also applied a little to the face and was impressed to have a golden glow the next day with very little need for foundation.

Make Believe have also brought out a range of cosmetics designed to compliment a natural golden glow, with a highlighter cream, bronzing powder and an under-eye brightener! The cosmetics items are at a more appealling price range around the £10 mark (£7.50 for the highlighter cream).

At £30.00 for a 200ml bottle, for me it was worth paying that little extra to ensure a longerlasting, more natural looking tan.
