Be Bronzed: Fake Bake Review
Fake Bake Beyond Bronze Wash Off Tan
Fake Bake Beyond Bronze Wash Off Tan

For those days when you just haven’t had the time to apply fake tan and need a touch of colour to add a warm glow to the body means Beyond Bronze Wash Off Tan by Fake Bake is just the product for you! I have had 25 girls test this product courtesy of the folks at Fake Bake themselves and found that the product suited every skin tone from paler skin tones to darker skin tones without the orange finish associated with most wash off tans. The texture is ultra light and smooth to use and as a water-based product, it does not leave an oily residue on the skin but rather sinks straight into the skin leaving a totally natural tan. Depending on the depth of tan required is mainly due to the number of layers you apply. For paler skin tones, one layer is enough to accomplish a sunkissed look, whereas mid to deeper skin tones can add more to create an ultra-deep tan that lasts until washed off!

This product leaves a matte finish as it has no shimmer in the formula at all. I believe this makes it perfect for the daytime and can be glammed up at night with a glittery powder or highlighter cream to be applied over the top. The product is best used on the body and I advise NOT to use it on the face due to the fact it is water-based and so may interfere with your makeup.

Its has a very light talcum powder-esque smell when first applied and is rather dark to look at as it comes out of the tube. Wash off tans can be rather scarey to use for those who have never tried them before and so Fake Bake also offer a buffer mitt for application to avoid streaks and any darker patches. The formula glides on the skin with a a translucent bronze tone. The pink and gold packaging makes this product another bathroom cabinet favourite and is a true favourite of mine when it comes to an instant self tan.

The Fake Bake range is rather pricey and so depends how seriously you take your tanning efforts! For me, as a regular tanner; Fake Bake is money well spent. Their products last a long time as very little goes a long way and when it comes to tanning; you really do get what you pay for. It all depends on how natural you wish your tan to look and I’m guessing as NATURAL as possible!
