A miracle oil! I love this little tube of organic Balm Balm Tea Tree Oil and other essentials. I have been looking for something other than a standard face cream or harsh anti-blemish gel and found something that does the two! It not only moisturises the skin leaving it smooth and supple, it also acts as a calming essential oil that prevents acne and soothes any scaring. I use it all over the face and allow it to sink in throughout the night. It is also great for any other areas that are acne prone or need that extra added smoothness and TLC.

I have fallen in love with the new summer collection from Mac! It’s full of bright pops of colour against subtle more everyday colours. Very wearable but also versatile! I can’t wait to try all of these! oh dear, I’m feeling sorry for my purse, but hey these are just to die for! The tropical packaging is just set to get me smiling this Summer!

Topshop Makeup Range

Topshop has introduced its first ever makeup range! Seasonal collections with the kind of quality, colour and coolness we all love about Topshop, is designed by Lizzie Dawson (who also designs their blouses).

Look out for eye-popping blush, metallic paint sticks and a few suprises!

The multi-tasking blush for lips and eyes and exciting nail colours (purely for after hours!) are set to be key favourites. I already have my eyes on the blush in Neon Rose; a fab bright colour for the Summer!

There will also be a limited adition festival collection too, all to hit stores in May. Prices start from £5 to £15, so yes girls, its another reason to spend that ‘little’ extra! lol

Boots Cold Cream

Boots Cold Cream Cleanser is a very gentle way to remove all of your make-up and give your skin the deepest cleanse. Packed with rose oil and beeswax, the best way to use is to use it on damp cotton wool (although there is no one way of applying it). I firmly smear it around the face and over eyes and use a separate damp piece of cotton wool (without any product) to smooth off the excess and remove impurities. If you find a lot of products dry out your face, this will give you a perfect balance and leave your skin feeling soft, smooth and refreshed. I have found that after just one weeks use, my skin is softer and has more of a glow to it. I were a little worried it would not work on me too well as I have oily skin and so tend to use products that stop oily build up, however, this product was perfect and avoided that notion that if you have oily skin, that there is no need for moisture!

This cleanser is excellent at removing makeup and deep impurities. I felt little need to moisturise after as my skin was left silky and feeling well nourished. It has a subtle rose scent to it which I am not particulalrly a fan of as it reminds me of  turkish delight sweets (which I hate!), but it gradually fades after use.

A very decent price for a basic cleanser. The glass vintage pot is appealing also! A great purchase; particularly if you have enought Boots points on your advantage card!

An 1814 poem credited to “Dr. Russell” gives the following account of the benefits attributed to cold cream in that day:

WHEN a pot of cold cream to Eliza you send,

You with words to this purpose your present commend;

Whoe’er with this cream shall her countenance smear,

All redness and roughness will strait disappear,

And the skin to a wonder be charmingly clear;

If pimples arise, this will take them away;

If the small-pox should mark you, those marks will decay;

If wrinkled through age, or dawbing the face is,

‘Twill be smooth in a trice, as the best Venice glass is;

All this and much more, could I spare time to write it,

Or my pen go as fast, as your lips would endite it)

You affirm of your cream: and I would not abuse it,
